Once again one of Cebu Ferries vessel Our Lady of Rule has proven their enduring mission and commitment to service to their valued passengers. With presidential proclamation 115-A declaring month of June as Port and Sea Safety Month in Iligan City, Iligan government offices under PPA/SOPI/PCG/City Fire Marshall/BFD/QUARATINE awarded Our Lady of Rule as the “Cleanest and Most Passenger Friendly Vessel”. The vessel master Captain Ceferino Manzo and some of his crew members received the award in Iligan City last week of June 2009.
The management of Aboitiz Transport System recognizes the exemplary performance of the crews of Our Lady of Rule during their July People Engagement Program.
In an effort to continuously serve their customers, Cebu Ferries will soon be having another vessel which surely add comforts to the people who will travel in Visayas and Mindanao areas.
The new vessel is expected to commence service middle of September 2009.
Cebu Ferries operates three vessels having Cebu as their main port of operations with 7 ports of call: Cebu Ferry 1 sails to Cagayan, Jagna, Dumaguete and Ormoc, Our Lady of Rule sails to Ozamis, Iligan and Ormoc, and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel sails Butuan and Jagna.
